Surfside Resort

One of my favorite hotels. We got one of the ocean view family rooms. Very spacious. Beautiful view. The only thing that was frustrating was the lighting. The lights were very dim, we had to bring the lamp from the guest room into the maid area for more lighting. Almost every light kept flickering throughout our trip, even the fridge light kept going out. We were in room 213 building B. Other that that our room was absolutely perfect and we will come again

This is our favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast. Rooms are spacious, the view of the ocean is stunning, and atmosphere a great price. They also have family units and a building with rooms where you can have your pets. Indoor swimming pool is an added bonus.

We called the resort directly to make our reservation and it was just as smooth and easy as breathing...the staff are super friendly and unpretentious! There's an indoor heated pool that is just Nirvana after a long day of travel and beach colming.This place is so nice! It's clean, it's well appointed! The towels are folded pretty with soap bars tucked in...it just checks all the boxes! The full kitchen in our king unit has everything you could need to feed your family. It was so awesome we stayed extra days. Everyone should stay here! 😀

Positive: Location cleanliness and staff Negative: The coffee situation was terrible. They had a old beat up coffee maker, small pods that didn’t fit the size coffee maker that only made Brown water. I I haven’t seen that awful of a coffee thing in ages. They really should get on board with Keurig.

we came back to rockaway beach and stayed for a few days again, late sept to early oct, which was so much fun.....it was stormy, and we've never seen high tide reach the riprap rocks, so that was a bonus....the room is big, clean, and they do recycling, which is a big plus....i have come here since the 1980's....it's great for beach time, and we walk to town a couple of times a day for a meal....the staff is so friendly and helpful if needed...we swam in the pool and it was invigorating as usual....the big storm tues into wed morning affected the sattelite tv, and the staff offered to move us, but we stayed put...it was nice they offered...the kitchen is great too....we always love coming here, and appreciate it....thx so much...
