Inn At Rockaway Beach

Great location, two minute walk to the beach really small bathroom window wasn’t working in one of the rooms no AC, but with the broken window it was hard to get room cool

One block from the beach, very little ocean view. Was quite, clean, had everything advertised. Great place to rest after busy days at the beach.

Stayed at the “Inn at Rockaway”. Horrible. Walls are paper thin so you can hear all the cars driving on the street, neighborhood kids yelling and the people above and next to you doing, anything. Every time the upstairs guests would flush the toilet it made it sounds like the water was going to burst through our walls it was so loud and aggressive. The entire unit smelled overly of some sort of Fabreeze that messed with my husband’s sinuses so badly. It just made it seem like nothing was actually cleaned prior to our arrival. We found previous guests hair and pet hair in the bed which had me itching for the majority of the night. We almost just left in the middle of the night because neither of us could get a decent nights sleep but we just wanted to rest before having to drive hours home.

They rent to people without checking on room stayed 2 days no electricity because management could not get anyone to trip a breaker but still charged full price

The five Star rating is for Itrip. Itrip communication is top notch. They are very supportive and will do whatever they can to make your stay wonderful. The owner however doesn't get five Stars. A little more thought should be been used when remolding the rooms instead of hurrying through the remodel to make sure She made her bank note. Shower drains need clearing and grab bars installed. Needs a area to hang clothes and they need a cooktop to cook in the room because the restaurants are very expensive. Also extra towels and a extra blanket would be nice. I don't use heat at night but would like a blanket instead of turning the heat on. Using a interior designer would have helped in the total flow of the room and adding a breakfast bar with stools and not having the dining table would be b
