Surf Rider Resort

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were assigned unit #116 on the first floor. The unit was spacious and clean, and it had a nice patio with a table, four chairs, and two lounge chairs, so it initially seemed like a really nice unit.||However, in the evening we spotted three cockroaches in the kitchen that ran under the kitchen cabinet. When we reported this to the staff (with pictures that we had time to snap), they told us they were sorry and were very surprised, especially because this unit had been treated the day before we arrived. They also said that this is Florida and it sometimes happens because after a treatment, roaches come out of their hiding places to die. But the ones we saw were definitely alive! This is a timeshare rental. We had no idea until we arrived. Property was just okay, we booked last minute. We needed a place for a few days before heading home. Pool is shared with other resort, and hot tub is ridiculously small. There are many other resorts that I would check out before heading to this property.

Very nice and clean place. The apartment is very big with a lot of space. Beautiful view from balcony. With a private beach entrance. Apartment equipped with everything you need. Washing machine, washer, etc. Especially recommend to the families

My 3 friends and I had a great experience here. The condo was roomy, The kitchen supplied everything we needed. It was clean and the building was quiet. It has easy access to the beach right across the street and even has a little balcony overlooking the access waterway to the intercoastal. The area felt safe and it even had a pool, hot tub, and tennis court. Check In was easy, the staff was so friendly, and plenty of parking. The only thing it needed was some new mattresses...They weren't the most uncomfortable....but they definitely weren't comfortable...at least not the two twins....but my friends said the king bed was about the same. Other than that, it was a great place and we would definitely come back.

My wife and I stayed at the surfrider hotel in Pompano Beach for our 27 year wedding anniversary. The staff is very friendly the rooms are nice and big and clean with comfortable beds the pool and hot tub are super good they are both heated clean and when we went they were not crowded at all so we had them all to ourselves. Beach access is very easy just walk across the street down a short path and you're on a beautiful private beach. The staff at the hotel that you use the boogie boards and you can rent umbrellas and chairs for 10 bucks for your entire stay so this is definitely worth it my wife and I had a very nice time at the beach I highly recommend this place.
