Surf and Sand Seaside

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights before our cruise on Jan 29-Feb 1st. The host was incredibly communicative and we were prepared for everything a day before arriving. Pros: Location - walking distance to the pier and beach with several eateries Room- spacious and had a refrigerator, stovetop, and amenities. The only thing I wish it had was laundry facilities. It had a small table to eat at and cable tv Host- very friendly, quick communication and responses, included all info we needed to enjoy our stay We travel often to Florida and would definitely stay here again.

The owner canceled my paid for nonrefundable reservation less than 24 hours before check-in. I made a reservation online, credit card details were provided, my card was charged for the stay. Apparently she sent me forms I had to fill out agreeing to all sorts of fees for violations. Fine, as with any hotel, since it’s paid for, you fill it out on check-in. I wasn’t aware that she had sent me the forms and I did not fill them out on her timetable, which is not explained or warned of anywhere , so she canceled my reservation. Her response was I’m sorry if you feel this way. Do not stay here.

Room was very clean and beds comfortable. We didn't use the pool during our stay but it looked very well maintained. Full kitchenette made everything so easy. I was a bit worried about staying at a smaller establishment but I'm so glad I did! We were in town for a funeral and I was happy that lodging was one thing I didn't have to worry about. If I'm ever back in Pompano I will definitely stay here again!

The TV and AC wasn’t working! I have called them 3 times to fix it! Later, they send to my email allegedly free voucher for the inconveniences, but it wasn’t free at all! They charge some for a cleaning and other fees even more expensive than if you book this guesthouse again! I don’t recommend it!
