Super 8 by Wyndham Woods Cross/Salt Lake City North

This hotel is very run down. The furniture is chipped, the lamps had no shades, the heater worked but had missing buttons. No pictures but paint pulled off the wall. The sink was scratched and had no plug/stopper. The shower was stained with barely warm water. No shampoo; no extra blankets. The breakfast was packaged donuts. We didn't even go over. There are much better choices near by for hotels and dining. I would never stay at Super 8 again. It appears to be an old Motel 6.

I was very pleased with the front desk Jeremy went over and beyond! Manger was so kind! And walking into the room where everything was spotless and the room smelt good! All rms are no smoking, as a smoker I respected the rules and smoked outside!! The bed was very clean and was so happy about this I made a effort to inform house cleaning 🧹 how great of a job they do! T.V & remote... everything worked! New ownership is unbelievably awesome!! We checked in and the room smelt like smoke even though we paid for a non-smoking room. The front desk was super nice and moved us to a different room, which unfortunately smelt like weed and smoke. There were also hairs left on the ground and tables - didn’t even open the bed to look at the state of sheets- only two pillows and the room was freezing when we checked in. We ended going to a different hotel.

Positive: Nothing. The room was so terrible that I had to change rooms after getting there after 1am. I tried to get out of spending the second night there but the agent and hotel manager got into an embarrassing yelling match with each other during my phone call. Negative: The hotel was filthy. Our first room had sewage water coming up from the tiles in the bathroom and the walls were covered with stains and smears of the most disgusting kind. The bedsheets were stained and had cigarette burns. The room smell was terrible

My sheets had blonde hairs, if there's one thing I hate is hair. Getting in bed, going under the covers to finally rest after been driving for over 12 hours and to find hairs on my sheets just made me NOT want to cover myself with them. Oh. And I also found some lil burned holes on my sheets and on pillow cases grrrrr. Those little holes were cigarette burns when the room that I had requested was a NONSMOKING room. I was very very disappointed on the rooms appearance. The front desk person that helped me, took literally like 10 minutes after I walked in to finally come to the front desk to help me out. Who knows where the person was or what was the person doing that it took so long for me to get help and be given a room that as soon as I w3nt to lay down I very much hated it. The only good
