Super 8 by Wyndham Sulphur

Very clean room that had a fresh feeling and smell. Perfect location close to Dog Day Flea Market and National Park. It includes a breakfast which was enough to quickly get a bite before you go off on your adventure. There is stairs, so if that is not what you can do, so you can request a bottom floor.

Stayed one night while on the road. Quiet location. No elevator and narrow staircase. The ice machine didn't work one has to for ice at the front desk.|Spacious room with linoleum floor. Amenities included mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The A/C worked well. Well located power sockets. Comfortable bed and pillows, although the linen was stained.|A number of things suggested poor upkeep: missing sink stopper, broken bathtub stopper, partially clogged shower head, frayed towels and torn bath mat.|Very basic breakfast.|Wifi worked well.|Easy parking in front of the building.

Positive: The color scheme and decor were both beautiful and soothing. Negative: The shower only had 1/4 of the sprayers working no matter the setting the head was on... impossible for me to get shampoo out of my hair.They ran out of half of breakfast half way through my stay

The people and the rooms are quite nice but the beds are absolutely awful I don't think we got a lick of sleep

Checked in around 9:30pm on a Wednesday with my dad. They charged him a $133.00 for 2 beds. Took our luggage up the stairs. Looked forward to taking a shower and the first thing I see when I closed the bathroom door... an adult cockroach. The room was disgusting. Every corner of the bathroom and room had yellow stains like urine. Mildew and bug skeletons. Dog hair. My dad has terminal lung cancer and this nasty hotel probably shaved a week off of his life because it is so filthy. Drive past this super 8 in Sulphur and NEVER look back! I took all of my belongings back down to the car out of fear that their roaches and whatever other pests they have trying to hitch a ride home with me. No thanks boss! You keep them!!
