Customer Reviews
My wife and I have wanted to visit the Artesian at Christmas for a few years. We finally made it. The hotel was wonderfully restored and had very nice decorations. The staff at check-in was friendly. We enjoyed the shops. The Springs restaurant was great (I reviewed it separately). My wife got a spa treatment at the Solerenity. Excellent. The bath house was beautiful. We went to the casino, yes it was smokey, but it was a casino. We walked in the town and realized that the April 2024 tornado had devasted a large part of the downtown area. Very sad. I highly recommend the hotel for a nice quite evening, but also to support Sulphur. Pray they get back on their feet.
Room was great. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. The spa was fabulous especially the relaxing massage and nice amenities. The location was a "bit" far away. Other than that, we had a wonderful 48th wedding anniversary. Thank you very much!
Nice hotel, some staff were really friendly (in the restaurant & check out) some staff not so (check-in). Couldn’t find the stairs at all! So had to rely on lifts. Room was clean nicely done. Loved the free Bedre Chocolate. Shower was a little hit and miss. The shops underneath have blacked out windows so you have no idea on what they are or if they are open. Food was really nice :)
Had the Thanksgiving buffet at The Springs today. Worst "buffet" I've ever had in my life! I put buffet in quotes because there were only 7 items available plus a nasty little dessert table. I understand why the buffet line was dark (couldn't see the food in the trays), because it was so dismal. Charged us $40 each, too. Might have been worth $10 if you aren't too picky about the quality. The yams were clearly poured out of a can (not even drained) and topped with marshmallows. Truly awful. Our waitress was good, though. I hope their regular menu is better.
I kind of had higher expectations. I stayed in a suite which was huge. But, for this price range I expected better. The furniture was dated and worn out. The lightening in the bathroom is poor, if you needed to put on makeup you would need to use additional lights. The water was like warm and the sink a horrible and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I did like the had a dorm room fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable but didn't get a blanket, it was a thin sheet. I didn't request room service the 5 days I was there. I did go to there restaurant and it was surprising good though was closed in the evenings on random days. I only ate there once. Parking was easy and the receptionist were friendly. This was a business trip, so I would stay again. My biggest issue was there wasn't
