Super 8 by Wyndham Sealy

It's tough blindly trusting to get a good motel that's not too far off the highway on a cross-country move with a dog -- but we scored big time with the Super 8 in Sealy. The atmosphere was friendly, welcoming, and bright. The room was clean and had all we needed for a comfy stay. We slept well, felt safe and enjoyed the experience. Thank you for making our four-day trip less stressful with such a welcoming, kind vibe. :)

I spent a night at this Super 8 motel in Sealy, TX. The motel's location is right by Freeway 10 and Highway 36. It is very hard to get to the hotel. The motel looked old, and the staff was not friendly. The towels were either old or dirty because there were some stain spots on them. I liked the shower water pressure because it was very strong. The motel needs to be updated because it is an old motel.

I want to thank the wonderful staff at Super 8 for being such a blessing the last four years. Kriss, Connie and all the staff including the housekeeping team for a wonderful experience. You all outdid yourselves. May the Lord continue to bless you and may you and your families have a beautiful Christmas and God bless you all in the upcoming year.

The lobby was unwelcoming and uncomfortably hot. My room was also very warm — the A/C was not working properly and kept shutting off. The floor felt sticky. Additionally, the bedding was unacceptable we found ants. The sheets had holes, and I found both pubic and regular hairs on the bed. The fitted sheet and mattress protector had visible dirt and grass, the pillowcases appeared to have been reused from a previous guest without being changed. Also the bedding other than the comforter was inside out. The room had a strange chemically bug spray smell We ended up leaving and not staying the night THE CODE COMPLIANCE AND THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS RECOMMENDED!!
