Super 8 by Wyndham Portsmouth

The rooms have lots of bed bugs. I should have known something was wrong when my door to the room was broken and scraping the ground. We seen 2 water bugs, 5 stink bugs in the window, stains on the sheets and of course bed bugs later in the night. The picture was ripped off the wall and placed like a headboard. The pool has so much chlorine in it, your eyes will burn at check in. If you are about to stay here remember Royal Inn or Four keys only cost $55 with the same bugs, and people.

Positive: If it weren’t for staff who maintained the breakfast area very well, this trip would not have been worth it. Kudos to staff she did a great job.the bed was clean and comfortable. Negative: Cleanliness, roaches, hot water ran constantly unless the handle was “played with.”

The person that checked us in was there the entire time and did a fine job of being professional and friendly in doing her job. I'm sorry I didn't get her name though. Next morning, Rebecca- was taking care of the hot breakfast supplies. She did a good job and was friendly- trying to make sure the guests had their needs met. The rooms and the facility were sketchy and gave us an uneasy feeling though. The majority of the doors had holes, the carpet in hall was dirty, our room (217) has a busted bathroom door literally along with the doorknob on it just hanging there. A cockroach met my sister at her door as soon as she opened it ….. 🤢 she ended up leaving ( we didn’t know that till about an hour later when we finally showed up) My room stunk like glue and pickles 🤷🏼‍♀️ and there was blood on my blankets… The sink was clogged up. We had to use the bathtub to brush our teeth… Our heater was stuck on 80!! There was puke in the Sink in the bathroom of the pool area… And I’m pretty sure there was a girl selling her ( you know) out in the parking lot… This place was disgusting!! 😞 the food was horrible as well … no fruit… no fresh anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ milk that sat out for hours to go with some stale cereal 😞 HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Beck and Jamie were so helpful last time I stayed here, I usually come on the weekends because it’s so quiet. The staff cares how you feel about the place, the place looks amazing and the view was great. Breakfast was okay, but overall the best hotel for the price!
