Super 8 by Wyndham Montpelier

Wonderful stay. Hotel was clean out room was clean and smelled good. Swimming was nice and hottub too. Wish it had been a little warmer though in the hot tub. Breakfast was wonderful they had something for everything from biscuits and gravy to waffles cereal muffins yogurt toast coffee hot chocolate. The lady's there were wonderful too and very nice and welcoming. They were kind enough too let us know about the food places closing early and that dominos delivered till 12.10/10!!!!

Great hotel! I typically stay away from Super8 hotels, but this hotel did not disappoint. Stayed for 3 nights. Convenient if you are traveling through this little one stoplight town. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, furniture was dated yet charming and in good condition! Hotel was very clean. Interactions with housekeepers and front desk staff were positive. Everyone was hospitable and kind! Will 100% book here again next time I travel through Montpelier.

This hotel is as professionally managed as any. I have been in a long time. Front desk personnel were friendly and effective. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Apparently they have one quite a few awards and I understand why.

Positive: The staff was amazing and my kids loved the pool! Negative: The bed was unfortunately not the most comfortable, and the breakfast wasn't my favorite.

⸻ While traveling to Yellowstone, we stopped in different cities looking for a place to stay. At a grocery store, we asked a customer for recommendations, and they suggested the Super 8. Honestly, I didn’t expect much because it’s “just” a Super 8—but I was completely wrong. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a hotel and more like staying with family. The staff were all so kind, welcoming, and genuine. They truly treated us like family, and that meant so much while traveling. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Don’t judge it by the name—look at the people who run it. They were absolutely wonderful.
