Super 8 by Wyndham Monticello

Hotel in general is run down Bathroom was beyond disgusting. Toilet was filthy and so was bathtub. They advertise breakfast., but it's only coffee and juice. Staff was not friendly at all. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down. I'm also surprised Wyndham allows a hotel like this.

Nice office clerk, yes it's cheap, $75, but no refrig, no micro, no hairdryer. We're traveling from Wisconsin to Florida and have food, soda, etc in the car, needing chilling. Micro wave soup and meals, but no micro. Had to go a few miles into a scary, minimally lit, depressed little town. Don't go to the 'grocery store', go to the dollar general. The sheets and towels were clean, the mattresses and pillows nice, bathroom floor and door dirty, so we decided not to shower. Only one bulb in the sink area worked at 25%, which hummed and flickered. Neat retro lamp, totally rusted. Quiet location. Ice machine kept up with demand.

This was by far the worst experience, but there were no choices available. Bed seemed clean. The rest was filthy, worn down and some things dangerous. 2x4s sticking out 6 inches from side of bed to hold mattress up. Lamps rusted out. Mould on bathroom floor trim. Totally disgusting. We should have slept in our car🤨.

Hotel its self could use some upgrades but the staff, they deserve a 1000/10. Staff is absolutely amazing and super nice. Any issues we have had have been taken care of.
