Super 8 by Wyndham Madison/Ridgeland Area

Terrible! The room is ok but they advertise free continental breakfast all they offer is cereal. They don't have a single iron at the entire hotel! Then to top it all off, I put the do not disturb sign on my door and when I got back the sign was hanging back inside and my towels had been replaced. Didn't make the bed, but come right on in and swapped out the towels. I went down to complain to the front desk and all she said was, oh we're sorry, we'll tell them not to disturb you anymore. What a crap show!

Positive: It was clean and I felt safe. Negative: Interstate side of the hotel was very noisy all night long. Ask for a room NOT on that side.

Room was clean and overall good experience. TV was a bit small. Ac was good. A few gnats in the room but no other bugs. Saw more of the same gnats by the breakfast. The breakfast was barebones and the coffee was very weak and has an off taste. We found a bullet in the parking lot.

The hotel is incredibly old and there are many spots where repairs were done very shoddily. ||Check-in was at 2pm. We get to the hotel at 2:03 and are told the rooms still aren’t ready. We left and came back. ||The grounds nor the parking lot are kept in good repair. The hotel staff seemed high and barely coherent. ||The inside smells strongly of smoke, pets, old food. The bed was comfortable but the sheets and towels are entirely too thin, plus the comforter had cigarette burns.

Hotel manager (male) treated us as more of an intrusion then as guests. Very rude to us without justification. Used foul language. Front lobby locked to all guests. No maid service. Manager himself cleaned the rooms and he let you know he didn’t like doing it. The room was substandard in almost every way. Telephone was completely inoperable. Lamps missing lightbulbs. Bathroom had sink cabinet made out of painted plywood. Tile floor made ip of broken pieces. Safety locks on entry door literally broken in two. Useless. Room was very dirty. We had to beg for an extra pillow for the bed. A horrible stay! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This hotel should have new owners and management installed.
