Super 8 by Wyndham Los Angeles Downtown

I stayed at this hotel from Feb 27th to March 3rd. My main complaint is that after our stay, the receptionist refused to return my $100 cash deposit, claiming our room smelled like weed and threatening to charge an additional $150 to my card. At no time did we smoke inside the room—my girlfriend and I always smoked outside in the balcony hallways, as did other guests. When my girlfriend tried to check out, the receptionist delayed the process, saying we needed to return the key cards and wait for the person who booked the room. When I arrived for the deposit, I was confronted about the alleged smell. I denied smoking inside, but the receptionist accused me of being abusive to my girlfriend, which both of us said was untrue. She threatened to call the police, but never did, so I called them

The worst experience ever. My husband booked an overnight stay as locals. |The check in was terrible with one of the receptionist and once we got into the room there was blood on the sheets , there was a hole on the sheet like if it was burnt, and the toilet paper was not replenished. It looked like someone was there prior to us. I called the front desk there was another receptionist jagger that was very kind and offered new linen. But once he saw the room himself he offered a new room. However we are getting charged for both rooms and their response was to dispute it. Horrible service -

Positive: Location of the hotel was minutes away from DTLA and didn't have to drive far to where we needed to be. Negative: They charged my card before checking in and they still cancelled my room. Once we got to the hotel they rebooked our room.

we stay couple times a year and rooms are decent and clean and all services are consistent and good. the location is close to a busy street but very convenient for us and not too noisy. not much variation in breakfasts but they are good and we will be back again.

As usual in crowded cities people there are used to deal with a lot of people of different kinds and they run out of sympathy or empathy. Guys at the front desk here are cold. They are not rude, but they will not try to do a bit else of what they are supposed to. • This place has a parking fee. But there's not enough parking spots so you have to park were you can next to a container.
