Super 8 by Wyndham Grants Pass

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Went for a good nights sleep and got this.... First, I had showed up with my service dog and was told because of her I would be put in a room by the back door so it was easier to take her outside. What they failed to tell me was the stairs to the lower and upper level wrapped around most of my room. I heard heavy footsteps and people running up and down, having conversations I could clearly hear as they went. The heavy door to the outside, which was directly above my room slamming shut all night. ALL NIGHT! The small, ugly, dungeon looking and feeling room had nothing on the walls and barely any room on each side of the bed. Just a small walkway. The window was covered with a pull shade that had fake tire marks on one side and yellow road lines on the oth

I made my reservation through booking.com. I got a taxi from the emergency room to this location in grants pass at super 8. upon arrival I provided my identification. The front desk lady Bruce Lee and rudely told me we don't rent to local people! well I'm not a local person I'm from out of the area. she said that I'm within 50 miles. however grants pass is a minimum of 45 miles away. My residence is an additional 10 miles. she refused to listen to any explanations and told me that I'll have to talk to booking.com to get my reservation refunded.

Yesterday afternoon I reserved a room for my girlfriend and I, but when we arrived to check in around 7:15–7:30 PM there was some error either on my part or within the system, and it was only reserved for 1 person. Not a big deal, I paid an additional $5.xx to cover the 2nd occupant, checked the room and we left to go get dinner. We got back to the hotel around 8:20-8:30, absolutely exhausted after being up since 2AM working and 4 hour road trip from Mulino/Dundee in the torrential rain. We made a few trips in with our stuff, the back entry door not always responding to the key card even though my room would, and went to bed. We were both asleep almost immediately, despite the ruckus of what sounded like a party in another room, and were awoken at 9PM by a phone call from the desk info

Stayed overnight to finally see the Oregon caves. It was the perfect stop from Sacramento. Th lobby was clean and staff was welcoming. We arrived past 8 pm and was happy that they had hot water for tea and regular and decaffeinated coffee around the clock. I can’t say anything about breakfast since we slept through it. Our room was surprisingly spacious, linens were nice and clean. The room had a TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a safe. There were face, hand and bath towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and hand soap. Definitely one I will go back to should I need to stay overnight in the area.

This was a quality stay for the price. The rooms look a little outdated but we're comfortable and had all the standard amenities. The counter service was polite and welcoming and overall the location was very clean. Pancake machine for breakfast was a plus for the kids.
