While this may not be everyone's ideal place to stay it does offer a clean quiet atmosphere that's walking distance to a few different choices of food. Also, if gambling is your thing then you're in luck because you don't even have to leave the lobby. The best part about it is the night manager Ethel, I really hope i spelled that right. She's a very kind and accommodating person which is a nice change of personality from the bigger hotels who don't seem to care much. She's one of the biggest if not the biggest reason I am a repeat customer at this location. Im a truck driver and almost forgot to mention the truck parking no more than 50 feet away from the front door.

Positive: Room appeared clean, nice bed n pillows Negative: Terrible gaping entry door broken under entire front door. Cheap terribly small early carts for moving in suitcases! No elevator for 2nd floor! Poor breakfast! Terrible terrible coffee! And No decaf!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked the way it should. It’s a simple place, but it delivers exactly what you need when you’re traveling on a budget. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick. The property felt safe and quiet, which made the stay even better. The indoor pool was a pleasant surprise and a good way to relax after a long drive. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay without any hassle, this motel is a great choice. I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful the place was spotless and the people are very kind around the town I went out for dinner last night and returned to a quiet clean room and no crazy people running around here causing trouble I may have to stay one more night it was so pleasant and peaceful here

I had an unexpected situation where my car broke down in Galesburg, and I ended up staying here. From the moment I walked in, the staff took really good care of me. They understood my situation and offered me a very fair and reasonable rate for one night, which I truly appreciated. The front desk guy was amazing at his job—very professional, kind, and genuinely caring. What stood out the most is that he actually came all the way out to help me personally, which is rare these days. You can tell he really cares about customers and goes above and beyond. During a stressful time, this place made things a lot easier for me. Clean rooms, great service, and excellent hospitality. I highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.
