Super 8 by Wyndham Deming NM

We have stayed at 4 Motel 6's while traveling from Chicago to Tucson. This is by far the cleanest and nicest overall. Our dogs that travel with us are always welcome at Motel 6, which makes it a preferred stop. Dogs or not, do not hesitate to make this Motel 6 your overnight or extended stay Deming.

A Booking.com reservation was made. Upon arrival, people running the office claimed they could not find our reservation through booking.com. even though they were allowed to stay in the room. Several calls were made that night and the following day to booking.com and the hotel owner. Booking.com assured us that the hotel had the ability to get the funds booking.com sent. Booking.com told us they would refund us our money and that Super 8 would honor the $72 per night charge. After arriving back at the hotel our room was locked out. We went up front and reminded them about the Booking.com conversation, which they were part of. Super 8 then said that they would not make money if they honored the agreement with Booking.com and then charged us for two nights at $109.95. Only then were we all

The room was a very pleasant surprise. Rooms very clean, coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. Very comfortable bed. I usually ache after sleeping on motel beds. Not here. I run from Nevada to Texas often and never stayed here because it is very close to the highway and thought it would be noisy. It is surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend this establishment.

Stay at the la Quinta! This place is horrible! No breakfast other that stale muffins, bad coffee didn't even have creamer or milk. Juice dispenser was broken. You would get a better breakfast at a rundown gas station than this place. No coffee was in the room microwave was broken, beds very old and uncomfortable. Didn't sleep at all do to the train going by all night and the old windows don't provide any sound barrier. HOT TUB IS NOT WORKING!!! Go anywhere else!

Positives: Quiet, friendly staff, good water pressure, microwave, refrigerator. So many Negatives: would have asked for another room but were tired and luggage was in. Sign at desk said no refunds. Worst was Pee on the toilet (I cleaned it myself with soap/water., towels tiny and thin, husbands feet black from walking on floor, many little holes in blanket and curtains. Found Kleenex behind nightstand when I plugged in my phone , light bulbs out in lamp, popcorn ceilings, hair under a pillow, needs paint and they are still using Covid as an excuse to not serve breakfast and save money. We stayed at a Super 8 in Midland TX and it was amazing so thought we’d stay here. For the money, Wyndham should be ashamed!
