Super 8 by Wyndham Danville

This hotel should be avoided at ALL costs. We had to check out because it was so dirty. No sign of the room having been cleaned. Hair on the beds; residue of who knows what on the floors. No shower curtain, towels, or hand soap available in the room. No toilet paper. Asking for these basic things was an inconvenience to the staff. The room smelled foul. Staff showed zero interest at check in; and zero interest when we left due to the awful state of affairs. The building needs to be condemned. Stay elsewhere in Danville. Don't step foot in this place.

When my wife and I arrived it was dark and there were barely any lights to indicate the place was open for business. If they didn’t have guests I would have thought I was at the wrong place. They have no elevators and no accommodations for ADA needs. It should be embarrassing if I were the owner. The two hotels right next to it look way better. I instantly cancelled my reservation and got one at the Quality Inn 10 minutes away. Way better hotel if you are trying to stay on the cheap. Don’t bother with this Super 8

I can't even give this dump a star! We arrived, got our key room 219, headed up the stairs noticed the carpets were dirty Red Flag 1. On the stairs was a can of green beans, Red Flag 2. Noticed the door handle was loose, tried to open the door with the key but it wouldn't. Asked for help from counter person... he got it open but only after you turn the handle 3 times... everytime you want in your room Red Flag 3. Turned on light and a Roache ran across the floor, one ran for microwave and one was on the ceiling, Red Flag 4. Rooms look nothing like the photos on their website, I believe they are of an entirely different super 8 Red Flag 5. The room smelled of smoke and musty, Red Flag 6.
