Quality Inn Danville

It was convenient to our destination and affordable. The staff were friendly. However, our room needed maintenance. The tile was coming up on the floor and there was a hole busted in the bathroom door. The shower had warm-ish water and a constant solid-stream leak from the faucet.

Positive: Location was convenient and close to where I wanted to be. Negative: The first room they gave us had a large hole in the bathroom door, bugs squished on the curtains and a dirty bathroom. We requested a different room and the guy at the front desk acted like it was an inconvenience but switched our room.

Upon check in, James remembered us from our last stay. Even remembered we were given a double queen instead of a king. Was no big deal. He made us feel welcome. Room was clean and we got it for a good price. Actually, all the staff were great. However, when we were leaving, a lady mopping took our room keys and put them in a tray and said have a nice day and we left. I didn't get a receipt.

Not sure if I would consider this a quality experience. The bed dressings seemed clean, but the room itself had several stained areas. I was concerned with the stains on vents and areas with important airflow. The shower curtain absolutely reeked of body odor when the shower started to steam. Bugs creeping around as well. When I went to the front desk to check out, there was a basket to toss your room key in and a sign saying you just need to turn in your room key. I needed a receipt for my business expenses and waited over ten minutes at the front desk for someone to show up. I eventually gave up to not be late to my destination.

The location is convenient; the price is reasonable; the person at the front desk was friendly and helpful; the room was large and comfortable; the room was clean. However, although they did not mar my stay, there were signs of neglected maintenance: Slightly frayed carpet Window sheer was ripped Shower curtain rod was loose at the wall at one end, resulting in the shower curtain not covering the rear of the tub and the bathroom floor getting very wet. More importantlsy, the pull bar inside the tub was loose and could come completly out. Anyone grabbing this for support could have sustained a fall.
