Super 8 By Wyndham Cloverdale/Greencastle

This is advertised as a 2-star hotel and it met that criteria. Convenient to the Interstate with plenty of parking. Room was fairly comfortable. My complaints revolved around cleanliness. The room smelled as though the floor had been mopped with stale mop water and the stairs leading upstairs were in need to vacuuming. The breakfast was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. I left a similar review on the Wyndham web page and received a very nice response from the hotel management indicating they would address the concerns.

We had a quick overnight here on our way up to Philo.||The room was clean and a good size. We got an upstairs. It was quiet (we unplugged the fridge at night). It's a basic motel. Nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable for me, but my partner said she found it a little uncomfortable. It might have been because she got cold. We did not run the heater. The bed sheets were a bit thin, maybe we should have run the heater. We had our own blanket we added.||The breakfast is unremarkable. We chose to eat somewhere else (Zini's which is not far away by car).||If I were passing through again, I'd consider staying here again. But for the price, I'd probably try somewhere else. It was not particularly inexpensive.

A very big thanks for all of the suggestions for seeing the sights in California. So very helpful! This hotel was by far the cleanest of my entire 10 day trip. I've never seen a sticker on the toilet seat indicating that it has been cleaned. Super awesome stay! Thanks so much

The bed springs were broken and mattress pad was not fitted, scrunching up under the "fitted" sheet which was too small for the bed. We stayed one night and that was long enough! All we wanted was a good nights rest. Lounge chairs by the pool are torn and tattered. Really feels like management does not care about the overall customer experience. Overall the hotel needs a lot of TLC!
