Stayed in campsite 13. I would give this campground 5 stars except the yellow jackets were so bad, we had to eat inside our tent and sacrifice a piece of everything we ate to the bees far away from us so we could cook in somewhat peace. Large, open, flat area that slopes into the water like a beach, perfect for young kids. Very rocky shoreline but thankfully someone left a strip of carpet so we could tie off the boat on shore. Secluded from the other campsites so you felt alone. Would recommend, just bring lots of yellow jackets traps!
10.5 mile hike to this campsite. Totally worth it, great fishing and seclusion at a wonderful open campsite with bathrooms. Be sure to wear pants, as there are a LOT of ticks, plants covering the trail, and poison oak. Bring a water filter! I will definitely go back again soon.
