Super 8 by Wyndham Alamosa

Positive: Bed was somewhat comfortable. Negative: Not clean. Bed cover had white crusty residue. Shower had mildew. Shower curtain was dirty and stained. Toilet was loose and tiny. Side table was sticky and dirty. Clerk was not friendly.

I stayed at the Almosa Super 8 Motel and had a great experience. It’s a friendly, budget-friendly place with very neat and clean rooms. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming throughout my stay. The front desk staff, especially AJ, was extremely friendly and helpful—he assisted me with everything I needed and made the stay even more pleasant. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this motel to others looking for a clean, affordable, and welcoming place to stay.

I was looking online to book a reservation and had difficulty doing it. Anyway online price is 70.00 when I arrived was advised it would cost 105.00. When I arrived home I looked at my bank statement and was charged 120.43. I contacted the location and asked why a different price. He stated 15.00 in tax. Wow. I wouldnt of minded so much but the ROOM WAS FILTHY.. comforter was dirty and stained. Not to mention when I pulled back the sheets there was female hair in the bed which left me believing the sheets were not changed out after the guests left. I also want to make note the shower had black mold all over the cieling and the shower still was FILTHY like it is NEVER cleaned. Needless to say I will never return to that location. Also a heads up warning the person at the front desk BARELY

Seriously, just don't. Whole place smells like mold and cigarettes. Our first room was covered in poop and pubic hair, all the floor trim was literally ripped off, ceiling fan missing a blade. Then you go to the unattended front desk and have to call on a phone and wait while there is an obnoxious phone ringing alarm sound. After 5min or so of waiting the guy will appear. Asked for a new room and got more of the same. Bedding with hair and cigarette burns, human feces all over the inside and somehow entire front bottom area of the toilet, hair and gross stains in the shower, etc. TV and internet didn't even work in the new room but at that point I didn't have it in me to even bother fighting the guy for help. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and the current owners are letting it decay. I don't plan to stay again.|The room was clean, but the bed is wearing out, the shower/tub is stained, the first room the toilet wouldn't shut off, and the second the fixtures on the bathroom sink moved when you turned the water off and on.|The TV went into an attempted reset every time you turned it on, so you just had to wait it out. The manager came up and showed me how to use the TV, but his fix didn't.|The cleaning lady was happy to exchange the towel so threadbare you could literally see through it, but the replacement had a hole, as did the other one in the room.|Breakfast was sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, the requisite waffles, and assorted breads, cereals, and fruits
