Sunshine Lodge

The BEST! Dawn helped me schedule rooms for family and friends flying from Texas and Connecticut and it was wonderful! The accommodations were amazing, the Halloween decorations will knock your socks off and the friendliness beyond imagination! I cannot be more grateful to Dawn and her family who own/operate Sunshine Lodge. We will have more visitors in the future and won’t hesitate to book their stay here. Not to mention, my 5 grandsons used their loaner trikes everyday! A very loved location and amazing memories. ❤️

Sunshine Lodge is a treasure! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Cabin 1 for a few nights. The morning sunrise on the porch with coffee was a peaceful way to start the day. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. The outdoor pavilion with a fishing pier and gas grills was a perfect place to bring family to decompress. Dawn and her son were gracious and helpful hosts. Our stay here was due to my father's passing and subsequent Celebration of Life. Dawn was aware and even left a sweet card extending her family's condolences and prayers. Altogether this was a lovely place to stay. I highly recommend it.

We wanted something different from a big hotel on the beach to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We found it in Floral City FL! Sunshine Lodge had the amenities we needed but also the rustic feel we were looking for. Quiet, clean, safe, and just like our parents rented when we were kids. Dawn is a fantastic caring owner and the fish’n was great also. And our dog Bob Barker gives it two paws up!

***** We had a family event here this past weekend and this place is absolutely amazing!! The owners are absolutely amazing, extremely accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect! The cabins are beautiful, the rooms are very clean as is the landscape of the entire property! You are right on the lake with plenty to do if you want to, or do absolutely nothing and just relax and enjoy nature! We will be back as often as possible , I highly recommend Sunshine Lodge and I look forward to visiting you guys again and hopefully very soon!!!!

We had a wonderful time. Cabins clean, fit basic needs. Great place for a quick get away. Dawn very friendly. So quiet and peaceful, right on the water, view outstanding. Lots to do within short driving. Will definitely be back.
