Sunset Shores

Took the kids there for the weekend after labor day. Beautiful place. Clean and very well maintained. Great fishing even from the dock. We caught a lot of Pike and bluegill. Kids absolutely loved it. The shed was stocked with all kinds of outdoor stuff for the kids and pretty much whatever outdoor things we needed and then some. Kudos to whoever is running this place. We did everything online so we never met them. Thank you very much for the accommodations and the true up north experience.

I am writing this review for a friend. And I would like to note, there has not been a review written in 10 months. I'm going to be as respectful as possible. The "manager" is very rude and riding the line of racism. He was very disrespectful to me and my children, he stood 8 inches from my face speaking very loudly about my daughter and her kids. I was never given a copy of the rules, a receipt or anything in writing. I invited my daughter añd her 3 children over to swim and was charged a "fee". They charged me for dogs, I had no dogs. The manager yelled at my daughter for leaning up against the guard rail on the porch. The last day of our stay the plumbing was down and I was never offered compensation. Paying near $700 for 2 days was not worth it. I would not recommend this place nor will

Beautiful and relaxing space right on the water. We stayed in cabin #1 for a girls weekend/retreat and had the best time! The main house was a perfect gathering space for the group. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This is by far the cleanest accommodation I have ever encountered. This was such a relief since I travel for work on a regular basis with my three children. Cleanliness is one of my key requirements which almost rarely is met! Vivian exceeded my expectations! Not only was the place spotless, homemade cookies were waiting us each evening that we stayed. My overall experience has been excellent! I will come back as often as my work brings me to the area. Other perks include the following: huge porches off the back of each cabin, excellent views over the lake, quiet location, and spacious fully furnished cabins.

We our family had such a wnjoyable time in Clare, mi. The staff were so helpful with explainng all the things at our disposal. The cabiñs were clean and had all amenities of home stoves, utensils we definitely packed too much now we know..in addional we had paddle & row boats, life vests, fire wood, play ground, surrounding stores etc. Best if all pricing was affordable . We are planning to return in the near future. Thank you
