Loomis Bed And Breakfast

This air bnb should not be allowed to be listed at all! The pictures that are shown in trip advisor are not anything like the actual property. Is it big, yes does it have 11 bedrooms and 12 baths, yes. When we arrived the doors were not even locked, the AC did not work in most of the house and there are no screens on the windows to allow us to open them without allowing all the bugs in. Most rooms had tiny inadequate window AC, with cardboard or wood literally stuffed in the frame to "seal". The kitchen had no pots or pans to cook with, the grill outside had no propane. The house itself was absolutely filthy! The closets in the rooms had bedding and extra sheets etc. Just piled on the floor! We loved the decor, the charming country setting and set up of the B&B, and the hosts were very kind and personable, however the breakfast of the person who stayed before us was still on our outdoor table, the glass on the door & mirror was dirty & the room was very dusty. The cover on the bed smelled musty & the coffee mugs & silverware on the table in the morning were visibly dirty. Those parts of the stay were very disappointing. I felt like I just wanted to clean while I was there! I know Covid has been an issue, but paying guests definitely expect more. This place has so much potential, and hopefully this review will be taken as constructive criticism, as we did really like the people and setting.

Very good place to stay. Reasonable rates with great made breakfast every day. Would definitely return
