Sunset Point Resort

Very friendly. Very very helpful. Easy to communicate with and set up dates for reservations. Went above and beyond to help. My Dad is disabled. They were helpful and understanding of his needs. Also, my son dropped his phone outside, and the owner found it and took it inside to save it from damage. Full furnished. We will be back!

Our whole family went to Sunset Point this month for our annual vacation. We have been going there for quite a few years now. Very nice resort, especially for children, with a lot for them to do. The owners have taken great care to keep the property in very good conditions and the rooms/cabins are very clean. Also has a very good pool and pool area.

Very clean, great water pressure, nice layout too. But the TV it small and put on a wall shelf up by the ceiling so watching it strained our necks. But we still recommend staying here, great place to come to!

We have been coming to Sunset Point annually for 25 - 30 years for family reunion. Have loved this place and we take the entire place. This year was horrible. We had sewer back up in our cabins. Flush the toilet and it came up in the bathroom and kitchen sink. Owners were on the lake or river everyday so couldn’t talk to them until evening. Next day sewer gasses so bad we found raw sewage on the ground behind the cabins. Again no one to tell for hours. When they did show up it was clear they intoxicated and the lady did think it was her problem. It was always the perfect place for our reunions but it’s not being maintained. Rotted wood on deck going to 7&8. Busted concrete. No games in the game room. No management all day. I won’t be staying again. It’s sad but not worth my health

I love this resort. I go here with my family for vacation every summer. The staff are helpful and friendly. The cabins are nice and clean. The recreation center is a great place to go to at Sunset Point. There's a pool table and arcade games. The resort also has mini golf, which is pretty cool. The pool is probably the best thing in my opinion. It's always very clean with little to no debris. The temperature is perfect. The pool is open to anyone there and is open until 10 P.M., which is great for swimming at night. Overall, the place is awesome, and I will definitely be coming back.
