Sunset Motel

My wife and I spent the night here on the way to St. Louis, glad we stayed. It has old fashioned charm with modern rooms at a good price. The owner was very attentive and easy going but also made things easy for us.

Scott made check in super easy! The room was comfortable and looks to be recently renovated. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean and pleasantly fresh smelling. We only stayed one night before heading to golf but I definitely would stay here again the next time we are in the area. Great stay!!!

The room was immaculate, not a speck of dust to be found! My sister had another room, and she had the same comments about the cleanliness. We loved having a ceiling fan and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There were plenty of charging jacks and accessible electric plugs on the lamps. Good carpentry and fixtures were used when this sweet place was refurbished. Reservations, communication with the owner, check-in, and check-out were all seamless. Our only issue was that our 4-wheel drive truck was a little big for the parking spot. I felt like we were taking more than our allowed space, but no one complained. This little issue wouldn't prevent me from booking there again.

What an amazing place! The owners were very friendly and knew a lot about the local area. The room was clean, well appointed, and quiet. Check in and check out was super easy. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. We had a great experience and plan to come back again.

Positive: Very clean. Remodeled room. Negative: Limited parking, but was aware before booking.
