One of the best places to stay in Southern Illinois! The exquisite care in decorating, attention to detail and cleanliness are factors that mate Hart Estate one of the Top B&Bs in Illinois! There are so many beautiful household items decorating this estate, you will be amazed! Super clean bathrooms, super clean Everything, and fantastic attention to everything that goes into making a perfect stay! The owner is fantastic and makes you feel at home. Waterloo is lucky to have residences like this! Can't say enough good things about Hart Estate!! Love the water btw! 💦💧

Great location - just across from the ice cream parlor and close to town (and only about 40 minutes to downtown St. Louis). Brian is a great host and his home is like a museum!

Gracious yet unobstrusive host who is extremely knowledgeable of local history which enhanced stay. Old home chock full of antique furniture, dinnerware, and collectibles curated by host. Allowed for use of dining room and kitchen. Had wonderful weekend stay ... and highly recommend.

I really wish I didn't have to chose even a single star to rate this place. They completely ruined my friends wedding day by saying one thing and then completely changing it the next. Not only did they lie to us, they then proceeded to talk about us out in the hallway like we couldn't hear them. This has to be some of the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone at any time.

The owner is very nice and friendly. The house is big and nice, clean. It’s a antique house. The breakfast is very delicious. We had a great time there.
