Sunset Cottages

The only reason I gave rooms 2 stars is because after killing 12 spiders in the bathroom alone, there were 4 times as many in the main room along with cobwebs. I had a hard time getting comfortable or sleeping as a spider dropped on my partner as we were watching TV:( if you aren't allergic or have a fear of these tiny creatures, you're golden!!! I would absolutely stay here again but will be bringing some cleaning supplies next go round. Also, be prepared for the wind. Should've expected it, but didn't.

Bed was horrible. Every time I moved it sounded like rocks were falling through the roof. Bandnext door was ok. They shut down early enough. Shower dripped. Our friends tv never worked from three days. Mold in our bathroom.

I stayed here over the fourth of July with my family. We stayed in one of the "vintage" cottages and was perfect for our family of 4. The cottages are located right on the beach so my husband and I were able to relax while the kids played in the sand. We had a great time and was treated like family. Lots of activities to do in the area that are in walking distance. Defiantly will stay again!

My family stayed here to celebrate my graduation from college. We loved hanging out by the beach and had a wonderful time staying here for the weekend. The property is nice. The rooms are cozy and very clean. I liked that they also had all the supplies that you need in case you forget some thing from cleaning supplies, dishes, microwave, stove, full fridge, coffee pots and everything. The staff was great too. Staff member Laurie was so kind and helpful specifically. She went above and beyond to assist us with whatever we needed and made sure we were comfortable the entire stay. Definitely would come back again and recommend to others.

The availability of Sunset Cottages saved our central NY vacation when my first reserved place was a bust. Greatly appreciated Mike's quick response and the friendliness of all the (returning annually) families at the cottages. Come here if you want small town enjoyments and atmosphere near the Lake. Note smoking is allowed on the cottages' patios (which my husband appreciated.) You won't find a more accommodating and friendly management in CNY. Cottages are very cute and clean.
