Oneida Lake Inn

This room was overpriced. We were upgraded to a better room with a cook top. The owner told us that previous guests complained when he upgraded them that there were no pots, pans, dishes or cutlery. Why upgrade someone to a room with a cook top then. Most of us don't travel with fry pans, etc. Wonder what the other room was like. ||The room was small, with no place for luggage, no place to hang any clothes, instant coffee, even though there was a keurig in the room. The room had been updated, mismatched cupboards and a hodge podge of wood colors for the headboard, dresser, etc. The tv needs to be mounted on the wall then you could view it from the bed and at least have some space on the dresser top for a suitcase. I read several terrible reviews so I was reluctant to book here, but it was all that was available.|The room was small, clean and had the bare minimum amenities. No place to put your luggage, no place to hang wet towels or clothes. Bring your own soap, and shampoo as what us provided is not good. There is no coffee pot, but there was 2 bottles of water with instant coffee to use in the microwave. We just went across the street for our coffee. There are no curtains over the blinds so it was never dark due to the outside light. Free wifi was available. |Our tv had 2 levels, quiet or loud. There is no maid service or office personnel during early am or on evenings. Overall the room provided us with a roof over our head.

Steps from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, mini golf, etc. Convenience store across the street has great variety. Rooms are small, but great AC and free Wi-Fi!

Worth every penny. Walkable to town and the midway, which was perfect for my 7 year old. Great location, with the beach right across the street. My room was very clean and neat. I have stayed at other places at the beach in the past and this was by far, the cleanest and best place here.

Ok, so it's not a dump anymore. It's clean and Carl is very nice, but for $150, I would expect more than a comfortable bed. Yes, there's a refrigerator, microwave and cooktop, but absolutely nothing to use with them. There's not even a plastic cup in the room. No coffee maker. No tissues. Only one nightstand. Two of the skinniest cheapest pillows ever. No curtain at the window to block the light from the parking lot. Be sure you turn the blinds the right way or you'll be putting on a show. For $150, you can do better.
