Sun~N~Sands Motel

Nice quiet place to stay. Good location and is directly across from the beach (access #75) but it is next to a high rise so there are a ton of people on the beach. And they get on the beach at 6am to stake their claim and put up tents and chairs and aren't back til after noon. The place itself is small but the pictures are accurate, they just make it look more spacious. No outdoor mat for wiping feet, no outdoor shower, no full length mirror, no steamer or iron, no pans for baking but has skillets for cooking. Not a lot of space for storage or hanging things to dry. The bed is really comfy though, the shower is amazing and the a/c works really well. We had plenty of parking although others wanted to park right in front of our room. This motel was nothing short of awesome!! Newly renovated, safe area, short walk to the beach, and comfortable! I will go back to this place again and highly recommend to everyone! Small, quaint and everything you need. Does come with your basic kitchen supplies for simple dinners or breakfast, including a coffee pot. I loved staying here!!!

The place has been remodeled and looks amazing! Super close the beach, the pool is clean and 8 feet deep! The older reviews do not reflect this location! Amazing price, amazing location!!!

My family was bitten by a bug that has swollen his lip. This place is sick. My cousin did notify the manager and even sent pics of the bugs and his lip swollen. No explanation no return of funds, no switching is to another room. Nothing. He’s been avoiding my cousin by all means. Do NOT stay here. We will be seeing you in court soon. Be safe.

Stayed here for spring break March 2014, It was an interesting experience to say the least, but not a bad one. There are about 20 motel rooms, some are connected, some are just little stand alone buildings, and two of them are down the street in the owners house (they converted the garage area for these accommodations, it was a little weird, but the most private) The rooms all seem to vary in 'niceness'. However room 11 is great for 2 couples because the beds are in separate rooms. We originally asked for room 11 when we made reservations but when we arrived they had given our room away so we only had it for half the week we stayed (after putting up quite a fit because we REALLY wanted the room and we got a partial refund) The staff is very friendly, and laid back.
