Sun Viking Lodge

I so enjoy this place !! When I made the reservation about 3 months before my trip I was ready! Well...sometimes life and change on you and I called. Cora helped me out over the phone and all was good! Then when I checked in Heavenly got me all situated and my entire trip has been great! Right on the beach....hot tub....pools....snacks....fitness room and a great location to restaurants....racing.....shopping and everything!! Man I so enjoy this and feel safe as well. Thank you Sun Viking Lodge and I cant wait to get back here!

I want to be fair and honest. I selected this hotel due to the positive reviews and was very disappointed upon arriving and seeing how run down the establishment was. The room had an extremely strong mildew and mold smell, to which we asked to relocate due to bad asthma and allergies. The manager mockingly laughed at us as if he was incredulous that we could possibly be inconvenienced by the horrible condition of the room. He was quite rude considering we were being as nice as possible despite our disappointment. I would not even be leaving this review if we had been shown any level of consideration and kindness. We arrived early and were welcomed by staff. The room was clean and functional and having a guest laundry worked well for us. The outdoor swimming pool is small but nice and there is an inside pool as well if the weather is bad. The motel is fine and we would stay here again.

The experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our door was broken but they were quick to fix. It wasnt a 5 star hotel but it was a nice clean hotel. Stay is nice and SOO much to do there at the hotel and love its directly on the beach. Multiple pools and a hot tub nice outdoor area.
