Sun Valley Ski Resorts, Weather & Snow Report

I don’t ski but my bf does. He had a great time! Was very easy for him to get almost 30,000 ft in not even a whole day. He said the lodge is beautiful with stunning bathrooms. Same company that owns Snow Basin. I snow show shoe and there is a trail right off the parking for snowshoeing, walking or cross country skiing. Had a wonderful time. For those that are staying at the resort…. Downside is you will have to take a shuttle and then a bus to the ski resort:

Definitely an upscale ski resort with little to no lift lines. Snow was good on 2 of 3 days, but not the resorts fault. Could us maps on the ski lifts.

Amazing terrain - something for everyone from steep groomers, to powdery trees and even some fun rock features if you want to get sendy. Amazing happy vibes with a well appointed lodge and a mature crowd - have never met so many ripping 70+ year olds! Recommend the new Seattle ridge area as well as Frenchman’s for some really fun off piste glades! Also fun place to wear amazing ski outfits - style is off the charts!

A beautiful historical property. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. There’s also a bowling alley so don’t miss out!
