Summit Inn

We were very comfortable. They are obviously doing repairs to the rooms but that certainly doesn't make them any less comfortable. We aren't concerned with every little detail being perfect. Comfy bed, fluffy pillows, clean linens, clean bathroom, well stocked, large fridge, nice microwave.... I could go on and on. We were certainly happy with our stay and would stay here again. Check-in was easy and fast. Clerk was kind and helpful. Parking is well lit. Pool was sparkling blue but too cold to swim in January. Overall impressed with the property.

We had an emergency and broke down on the highway, and had to find somewhere to go. The sweet family that owns the hotel were so kind, so helpful, and helped us so much. Also a huge plus that all of their cameras work since we had to park our side by side in the parking lot and load all of our belongings and valuables in the bed of our truck over night. Not only was the shower brand new but the water was perfect. Beds were comfortable and clean.

We checked in October 27, 2017 to attend PVA&MU Homecoming festivities. The Manager and his wife greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. We took care of our business got the keys and headed to our room. The room was clean and cozy. We adjusted the air conditioner/heater to our comfort. There was a microwave, refrigerator, remote control, as well as blow dryer, and coffee pot. There was also free wifi. The bed was very comfortable with snow white fresh smelling sheets and blanket with comforter. It was a long drive from Dallas so we were not disappointed when we showered and went to bed. Loved the Continental breakfast. They also had on site washers and dryers. We have used this hotel for many years and there has been several upgrades since we first stayed there. we love this hotel and

Clean rooms not just saying that. Quite peaceful good place to crash.

The highway makes it a little difficult to access the motel. I slept pretty well there.
