Suite On Main

My wife and I recently stayed here in while in Kelseyville for a friend’s birthday event over the weekend. Great location on Main Street near restaurants like Pogo’s Pizza, the Saw Shop, and Studebaker’s for coffee, breakfasts, etc. Suite was spacious, and well appointed for what we needed. Bed very comfortable. Very private and very quiet. Kathy ( whom we happened to meet) was very attentive and good communicator. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a place near Clear Lake.

We had a wonderful stay at the Suites on Main recently. The rooms are clean, spacious and kitchens and bathrooms are very well equipped. My wife and I stayed in The Garden Suite #2 and our friend stayed in The Loft #4 which was also perfect. We made dinner a few nights and ate at local restaurants the other nights. Breakfast was always at the Café across the street. We hung out in the courtyard during the day as well, a nice comfortable spot. The town brew pub is 2 doors down and they have some very good beer and Selzer selections. |We went on a few hikes around town and Friday night "Pizza Night" at the Mercantile is a must! We also visited a few local wineries (excellent wines). Kelseyville is a very relaxed, casual town where you can not help but slow down and enjoy your time togethe

I stayed at this adorable little find for 4 weeks while on a work assignment recently. The unit was adorable, clean, and had everything I needed to be very comfortable. I had a cute courtyard just outside my unit. The area is very safe and secure. Kathy was super helpful with anything I needed or questions about the area. The town is like stepping into a Hallmark movie with cute shops, wineries, a brewery, hiking, and salt of the earth people. I was there over Thanksgiving and was invited by numerous townspeople to join them for Thanksgiving so I wasn’t alone. Seriously, where does this happen? It quickly became one of my favorite work assignments ever. Great job to the owners on this hidden gem.

We had the best stay at the Suites on Main. From the moment we walked through the gorgeous courtyard to the Garden Suite we knew we had found someplace special. We were blown away by the spacious open floor plan, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and awesome decor. The whole place was just immaculate - felt brand new. The bedroom was super quiet and the bed, linens and bathroom were great. We had a friend staying in the other ground floor suite and we could both just open our doors to the courtyard in the morning and enjoy coffee together at the dining table under the trees with our pups roaming around safely in the fully enclosed area. The courtyard is great! The combination of separate apartments of different sizes and the lovely courtyard was just right for our family reunion--we had oldsters, children, and some disabilities needing ground floor accommodation. The unpretentious apartments were clean, quiet and would suit someone looking to prepare their own meals. (We had a one-bed apartment, fine for a single or couple.) The air conditioning was up to the heat and the shower was good. |Gathering in the courtyard for food, drink and talk was just what we wanted, after those years when families couldn't easily or safely get together. Other good points include wifi, parking, keypad locks and nearby cafes. Grocery shopping for self-catering is best done elsewhere, however. |Negatives--certainly no view from our apartment
