Studio 1 Motel

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The rooms are immaculate. Awesome kitchen with full frig. If you are lucky enough to get Rm 36, you have a front and back patio. Laundry service available. Shower head and water pressure are outstanding. Wood floors. I could go on and on. The best part is the staff. You will not find a better group of people. They are so courteous and Vicki is amazing and kind. Angela is on the ball and answers any questions or concerns right away. The technology they use is so convenient. This is the true hidden gem of Daytona Beach, FL. Thank you ladies!!! We we be back there very soon. 😉

It is an old hotel. The room was very large.. full kitchen with all utensils and pans provided. |It was not pristine. But ok. |It was not perfectly clean, but I bought some cleaner with bleach and kept the kitchen and bathroom cleaner than when I arrived.|I made the beds with clean linens and swept the floor and cleaned all surfaces before I left. |The manager said I left it filthy...|I pushed back and she apologized..|.she said her house keeping manager used my room after I left.....

Overall, exactly what we needed for an affordable one night visit (but perfectly fine for extended stays). The rooms are a bit out dated but every was very clean and worked as needed. The mini fridge/freezer came in handy. Location is across the street from the beach with a beach access walkway. The motel is along A1A so a small amount of light traffic noise (nothing that kept us awake). Convenient parking in front of rooms and hotel and general vicinity felt safe. Checking was remote with a code sent at check in time. No reception on site but phone number and messenger for manager. Hot shower with great pressure. A special thanks to Vicky for accommodating an early check in and her timely communication through messenger.

Just checking in today, but so far, EXCELLENT! Online and text service, which is fine with us. Every communication answered within minutes. We arrived before check-in time, but they allowed us to put our things in the room and contacted us when the room was ready. CLEAN ROOM, SMELLS GREAT!! I'm looking forward to our stay and this motel started us off with a great day!! Will update more later...
