Stratford Suites

The single bedrooms are like small apartments. Cones with big coffee maker and cups. There's cooking pots and utensils and a yokes market 0.2 miles away. Friendly staff. Furniture in rooms are comfy. Beds are decent. Shower was hard to get hot water and not a very strong stream so it would be hard to wash off caked on dirt.

Rooms are in desperate need of maintenance and repair. It looked nice at first, but got worse as the days past. Paint is chipping, stained and discolored. Water leaking under the sink has damaged the veneer. Several dishes in the cabinets were dirty. During preheating, the oven filled the whole unit with smoke and heated up the fridge. The vent fans didn't really work. Beds sounded like they were about to break. Walls are so thin you can hear everything from the next unit and outside. Shower head is clogged and sprays everywhere except where it's supposed to, the shower curtain is a fabric one not meant to be by itself so water seeps through, and the tub plug doesn't work. Heaters were odd, one didn't turn on at all, one seemed to work alright, the 3rd wouldn't turn off unless you turned i

Positive: The location of the hotel was very convenient. The best thing about Stratford Suites was the staff. They have gone above and beyond to help with a situation beyond their control after our stay. Negative: ""

The place needs a remodel. It is great for the two bedroom and kitchen but very rundown. No kind of service from front desk. We will not stay here again. They should lower the cost to match what they have.
