Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane Airport Airway Heights

For the price, it was a great value for us. If I wanted more amenities and a fancier stay, then I would’ve paid more. Rooms were clean. Bed was fine. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is the bare basics of what a hotel would offer. Very close to the airport. They offer a shuttle service to/from airport. Free parking. No frills, basic hotel stay. Decent part of town. Would book again.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience. I ordered the room through Expedia paid for the room then hours later the hotel contacted me requesting payment for the room when I asked was this for incidentals or a deposit. She said no they see no payment on their end and that if I pay them the The hold would be released from my card from Expedia, which I knew was a lie after this she then persists to tell me That because I have a local address and it’s the weekend I have to give a $200 cash deposit per The local Owners, I understand policies, but this is a bit much. It was explained to me that this was something that they only do it with locals which seemed very discriminatory after several phone conversations with the lady at the desk. Positive: "" Negative: Walls seem very thin; I could hear my neighbors beside and over me moving around and talking to each other and on their phones. Staff seemed indifferent to guests: Always working on the computer, needed prompting to pay attention at check-in & check-out.

Customer service for our late check-in was above and beyond. It felt like the employees really cared about their customers and made sure that the experience and stay was top-notch. There were a couple of minor housekeeping items like empty body wash and a used coffee pod in the coffee maker. Also the AC/heater unit in the room made irregular loud clicking noises no matter what setting was used, so we left it off. Overall I felt the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

This hotel is very dirty. I asked for room service and the floors when I got back still have the coffee that was spilt on the floor. Floors will make the bottoms of your feet black!
