Stonyford Recreation Area

My all time favorite offroad riding spot,you can literally ride from stoneyford to the ocean,ride up into the snow in the winter,just the beat all round,family friendly spot around,camping is also great w or without rv..we'll worth the drive!

Very fun spot lots of trails

This is the mecca of NorCal off-roading. Huge place with wonderful trails. Be aware that it is a *challenging* place to ride; most trails have long Black Diamond sections and demand your best skill. But that's what makes it Awesome!!! If you have newbies, they can do a 30 mile loop on M5. The nice thing is that this forest road is criss-crossed by challenging trails, and so both experienced and inexperienced riders can kinda do a loop together.

Endless trails of all skill levels. Long loops. Don’t ride alone and be sure to pack and prepare for the unknown as if you’d have to sleep on the trail overnight as it’s got some remote trails that, should you break down, you’ve got a long ways to go to get back to the staging area. That said, I love this place.

If your looking for single track dirt bike trails go somewhere else. Most all the trails are quad width and not challenging at all. Every area with potential is barricaded off. Pretty boring place to ride in my opinion.
