Stoney Elk Estates

Be warned that this company seems to be renovating their rentals without notifying those who already booked them. We rented the Little Bull back in April, but when we arrived for our stay in mid October, the address we’d been given was an entirely different cabin. It was half the size and the inside was extremely hastily furnished, almost as though they forgot they had guests coming. Boxes for the coffee pot and other appliances were lying in a heap of construction junk right outside. Only two tiny lamps made it difficult to see, there wasn’t even a light over the sink (which was outside of the bathroom). Water took quite awhile to get warm and was so full of iron we didn’t even feel comfortable using it to brush our teeth. Overall it felt very cheap and shoddy and not what we paid for at

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the little bull cabin. The owner was wonderful and the cabin had everything we needed. It was cozy, comfy and close to everything. We really enjoyed and can't wait to visit again next year. I highly recommend!

This place is UNREAL!! I’ve been around different locations in United States, I have never seen the Fall as beautiful as this one, the place was luxury and had everything we need, my friends flew from Colombia to see the elk and we had an amazing time, the furniture , decoration, house, location, everything is 5 stars. Your money is definitely going to be worth it here, it was perfect for us , the small cabins are sooo ROMANTIC!!! Definitely something to think of on an anniversary date or something special. Thanks for everything.

Great place for a few day getaway. The cabin was perfect for a couple and everything you needed was available. The location is perfect, a few minutes out of town and truely in the "wilds". As always there is a chance of "visitors"near the cabin. These guys were a few feet away.

We stayed here on are honeymoon and we had a great time other than are cabin was not finish at all there was only a bed and 2 towels in the cabin. My husband had to mess with the water to get the water to turn on and had to mess with the water heater to get hot water I was not happy about that. The owner said he was goung to give me some of my money back but have not heard from him since we checked out. We would like to go back but if he can't make it right I don't think we will be back.
