Stonebrook Lodge

Planned our first trip from Florida to Cherokee/Bryson City area for a long weekend. Stone Lodge in Bryson was suggested, however, this was a mistake and I blame myself. There are plenty of poor reviews (to include Google) and I wish I would have did some homework prior to booking. First, I arrived at 1:30pm and was told check in was 3. I explained that I had drove a long way and would gladly pay a fee or upgrade charge. I was told "nothing was available" and to come back at 3. After driving around the area I returned at 2:52 and was again told that check in is at 3. Although Im understanding of housekeeping/staff issues, this location had about 4 cars in the parking lot that included staff. Well we started our stay with roaches in bathroom, showed to housekeeper and he said it’s not a roaches I so I ask him what kinda bugs do yall allow? Then during the late night the doors slamming, people running up down the hall and floor above us. Non smoking rooms, someone smoking weed the hall smells like a skunk, desk chair has a burn mark on it I did a photo time shot just to protect us. Drink machine if you want coke it have you Mr pin, water have us a lime drink. Continental breakfast let’s just leave this part alone. We will never stay here again, if I could post pictures of the roach I would time stamped photos . Place isn’t cheap enough to be dealing with these issues

Spent a weekend here and this hotel did not disappoint! Leilani in check-in was so nice , professional, and friendly. She provided exceptional customer service ! The rooms are nice and clean however I think the carpet in the rooms gives off a strange smell. We had to crack our window and spray it with a little bit of room spray! Otherwise we had a great stay ! Keep Leilani around !!!!😇

Excellent quiet hotel with superior friendly staff. Great location directly across from casino. I will definitely recommend this hotel. ❤️

This was a really nice hotel and we got it for a great price considering it was literally across the road from the Casino. I expected it to be way more expensive, but it wasn't and the place was clean, comfortable bed. Great view of the mountains. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Cherokee, NC.
