Indian Creek Campground

Really nice place quiet and peaceful! Showers and bathrooms were super clean. We only stayed one night I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’re on our way to florida it’s been a long drive from NJ. I’m hoping we get to come back to the campground to check out the town of Cherokee. We drove through it just didn’t have anytime to stop sadly. The Halloween decor was neat to see around the campground. I loved the sound of the creek very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and our GSD pup loved it. It was her first camping trip.

We have been coming to Indian Creek for a few years now and absolutely love it. We own an RV but always take the tent there. Love listening to the river at night. Very shady spots, spacious, clean well maintained campground. Store has everything you need. Bathhouse is very clean. Hot water in showers are great. Look forward to next time

Indian Creek is a magical spot. Bathrooms are very clean, management goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The camp store is truly equipped with the essentials which saves multiple trips to the store. We stay a couple weeks every August/ September and the vibe and beautiful rolling streams are so relaxing and refreshing. Love to explore the surrounding communities and also the beautiful elk and deer. We have met so many people there that we meet up with year after year. Great place.

When my children were little, we tent camped in the Smokies national park campgrounds, which of course are fairly primitive. We loved the feel of being in the forested mountains, away from the trappings of civilization. We scorned people who preferred "commercial" (privately owned, KOA/Yogi Bear type) campgrounds, which we could see as we drove past on our way to Cosby or Elkmont.||||But this campground - Indian Creek - is about as good as a private campground can get. It's clean as a whistle. The staff are relentless about keeping it cleaned up, and reminding people not to trash it with cigarette butts, etc. ||||The bathhouses/showers are older, but the fixtures are all much more recent and || completely functional, clean, well maintained. Very nice campground. We tent camped at #68. The space was large enough for two tents, but only 1 vehicle. Had a picnic table and fire ring. Firewood was a little pricey at the campground, but they bring it right to your spot. The bathhouse was clean and thr showers were hot. The store had plenty of options avalible for last minute items. My son loved all the Halloween decorations and the play ground. Wifi was availible but we ended up have service anyways. We will be back for sure!!
