Stone Canyon Inn

We toured Utah for over two weeks and this was our favorite stay.|We had a two-room bungalow, which was thoughtfully stocked with plates and plastic eating utensils. There was a nice porch to relax on. It was so quiet and peaceful.|About two miles away is the Tropic Trail that you can hike into Bryce: it was amazing. Lots of birds, but no other people until you get to the other trails in the park. |The restaurant is expensive, but top rate. Excellent food, attentive service, and great views! We made a reservation about a day ahead of time and had no trouble getting in, but had to eat early!|A very comfortable place!

We were looking for an affordable, clean room to spend the night, but got so much more! Our King room was immaculate, and furnished with everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. No traffic, or noisy neighborhood, and the 360 views from outside are amazing! The room itself is very beautifully finished. This is a little gem on your way through, or stopping for a visit in the Bryce Canyon area.

We’ve stayed at Stone Canyon Inn twice now—both times over Christmas—and it has become one of our favorite places to stay in southern Utah. We’ve stayed in the cabin on both visits and absolutely love it. It’s cozy, comfortable, and feels like a true retreat, especially during the winter season. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the location is perfect—just minutes from the park, making it incredibly convenient while still feeling quiet and tucked away. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The family that owns and runs the inn is genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience. Charming cabins nestled in tranquil junipers of the mountain desert with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets reflecting off of distant red plateaus - located just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. Different lodging types available but we stayed in the small 2 bdrm/2 bath cabins with a kitchen and a hot tub and it was the perfect arrangemet for relaxing after long hikes. Service was kind and very prompt. Arrived to holiday treats from staff. Will definitely be back and will certainly refer others to stay here as well!!

I have never written a bad review and wish I didn't have to as it is time consuming. However we were highly disappointed in our 3 nights stay.|Briefly, our cabin had its own hot tub which was so nice until we got in it. Slimy walls and headrests, flies floating. The windows in the cabin had been washed with such a dirty cloth that when the sun came out we literally couldn't see through them. We immediately went to the front desk and nicely explained the situation and she said she would let them know especially since we were staying 3 nights. Never an apology, never cleaned the hot tub, or windows. And we did not even mention the couch was stained on both sides of the cushion, shower head totally corroded, holes in the towels and the towels felt damp. So when they sent the email asking how
