Stockton State Park

Very nice State park with multiple hiking/ mountain biking trails, a nice marina, lots of wildlife, two campgrounds and open during the off season. Very well maintained. Only gov. campground around the lake with water in March. Decent phone reception.

Our trip to Stockton State Park was Thursday April 30th for 2 days and 1 night. We stayed in the camper cabins at the campgrounds. We met a friend with a boat and fished both days. The campgrounds, camper cabin, and bathhouse were all in great shape. I think the camper cabins are a little pricey, but they are nice solid structures with electricity, a small refrigerator, a microwave, bedroom, living area with a table and a futon. The cabin had a covered porch, a fire ring, and a picnic table. The bathhouse was about 130 yards from our camper cabin. The boat ramp (37°36'19"N 93°45'11"W) area was also well cared for with many fixtures with a fresh coat of paint.

My family and friends absolutely love Stockton State Park. My first time was in MAY 2025, but my husband's family has been coming for more than 30 years. The facilities were useful and clean, the scenery was awesome, and I can't wait for the next time. Please keep up the good work!

I camp here several times a year and I recommend this place to everyone. I always have a great time camping here. The lake is beautiful, the campground is clean and quiet, the staff is friendly. The showers and bathrooms are clean. This campground has something for everyone. 50 amp, 30 amp, non electric, and I really love hammock camping at the walk in sites. The marina has all the essentials for sale and the restaurant there is pretty good. Check this place out!

Amazing state park. Spent the day sailing on a friends boat. The lake was really clean and quiet. We used state park restrooms before we left and they were exceptionally clean. Beautiful spot.
