Stillwell Hotel

Okay so this place isn't the Ritz.. but it's got some character especially if you like ghosts.. it's a little rundown but.. it's worthy if you need a room for a night it's not going to be the best room you ever stayed in but the character of the building a fun adventure..

Deceptive advertising |I asked for a suit. They added 500 to my reservation and wait I was upgraded to Mountain View suit. ||My friend stayed at an original offer 500 less. We have same room. |No view. Gas station and outdoor restaurant across the street. Road noise Too. They are crooked fake’s description of the rooms

Great location for a cheap price, was skeptical seeing the reviews in 2014-2018 but it looks like all those issues were addressed. I did notice long hairs on the pillow covers (I'm bald so can't be me) so I avoided using them, room service did come by daily and made the bed and provided fresh towels however. Front desk reception was super chill and helpful, I wasn't expecting much from a 1 star hotel but was pleasently surprised. If your only goal is good value and good location, I highly recommend Stillwell hotel. You get what you pay for, for everyone complaining about amenities/asthetic in a cheap 1 star hotel.

Not a bad hotel but VERY old and need repairs

First time staying here, 3 nights. The good things- The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Towels were nice; clean and white. Not so good? The AC was needed, even at night with the window open and outside temps 60’s- 70’s. And it’s loud. Trying to work comfortably was difficult. The desk chair was HARD, and there’s no lighting at the desk. There’s one lamp in the room, and the front desk could not provide any other lighting because every room in the place was booked. There are two elevators, and a safety inspection is two years overdue. If you can live with the limitations, the price is right and the area feels safe for walking.
