StayOver Cabin Rentals at Red River Gorge

We had a very pleasant weekend stay at the 50 Shades of Slade . From the road it doesn’t look like much however once inside we were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded our expectations. Newly renovated and tastefully furnished 2 bedroom home including the lovely decor touch. Not a scratch or a tear to be found. Newer appliances , super clean interior, comfortable beds, ceiling fans throughout, functioning AC, 3 large TVs. Large back yard with partial fencing for privacy provided ample jumping room for our pup. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, even a cork bottle opener. (No salt shaker). Hemlocks Over Muir is the MOST beautiful place I’ve stayed. My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary with our dog, and it was incredible. We literally only left the cabin to grab dinner and go zip lining. The fact you can just walk out your front door and play disc golf or go on a hike made this trip so relaxing. This will be our go-to cabin from now on. We will bring our kiddos next time. The pictures of the view out back don’t this place justice. You won’t want to leave the porch or the grotto. Be sure to use the coordinates to find the cabin and not the address. The management company was very responsive with any questions I had and have great recommendations for things. My husband and I recently planned a trip to Stayovernow on 1/28 for 4 nights and it had snowed heavily the week before. We were in contact with the office in regards to the roads conditions and if we could even get to the cabin we had booked. It was pretty remote. Turns out access to that particular cabin was not passable with our vehicle. They worked with us knowing our situation and of course us knowing they are a business. The office was so professional, kind, understanding and accommodating. We were put in another cabin easily. The paved road into stayovernow had been plowed and salted. We had a good stay at the Angel's View cabin. We really enjoyed a couple of days away from our busy lives. The view is beautiful of the woods. The cabin is secluded away. It has these hammock swings which were my favorite. It has two bedrooms, one on each floor, perfect for a couple with older kids or two couples. The only downfall when we arrived the electricity was not working and the hot tub was at 67 degrees, so cold. We did not have cell service and had to find a way to get a hold of the company without cell service. I ended up leaving the property to get a hold of them and husband found that the breaker box was tripped. He reset it and we were good to go from there. The company did work with us via email and text once I was able to connect to the wifi. The hot tub wasn't able to be
