Staybridge Suites Eau Claire - Altoona by IHG

This was my first time at a Staybridge Suites Hotel, and I will select the brand again. At this location the staff at the registration desk were so personable and helpful. The gentleman let me know that there was a happy hour that evening serving brats in addition to wine, beer and soft drinks. I did enjoy a brat and a lemonade. Very good. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. My room was clean, good lighting and quiet.

Positive: The Staybridge chain offers good value and above average accommodation. Negative: This property generally maintains the standards but the refrigerator in room we occupied needs to be replaced. There was a loud humming and it took 10+ hours for the first load of ice to be produced ☹️. Additionally, the dishwasher had dirty dishes left.

The staff here are the most accommodating! They listen to and see to your requests, and the breakfast is also very good. The complimentary laundry, full kitchen suites and refrigerators and the den area are some of my favorite parts about staying here.

A nice stay! Room was clean, modern and comfortable. They had a Happy Hour on Friday. They served chicken tacos with all the fixing, free. Beverages included soda, wine and beer, also free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My brother-in-law is in an assisted living center and this was close by.

Rather it’s for business or personal use of Staybridge Suites in Altoona, this venue is amazing. From the people to the cleanliness of the rooms. Meeting areas and breakfast buffet. You are always well taken care of here! Highly recommend, and with the location being central to most of the Eau Claire Area. You are 10-15 minutes from the Oakwood mall, to the Chippewa Valley Airport and various restaurants.
