Not a bad spot, normally no wait times, mosquitoes are a bunch of little pains but if you bring bug spray and get yourself a Thermacell (10000/10 reccomend) then it's not that bad. Other than that not bad. (Pic of me spraying for the millions upon millions of mosquitoes)
This is, normally, a nice boat ramp but since the Corps of Engineers is working on the dam; they have drawn more water out of the lake than normal. When the lake is at summer pool you can launch your boat from any of the boat ramps. Since they are working on the dam, they have drawn the water down so low that this is the only ramp that you can use. Thank God that there was a new dock installed.
The boat ramp is in good condition. The docks are all nic and accessible in decent wait time even on busy days.
Went fishing. Caught a few. Mosquitoes are terrible even with spray, smoke, and coils.
Excellent place to launch your boat from great parking
