Starved Rock Motor Inn - Hotels in Starved Rock Area Streator IL

Very comfortable and clean. Our large room was very quiet, easy to find, near several restaurants and convenience stores. I loved the light up magnifying mirror in the bathroom! We enjoyed the different colored doors and old fashioned sign out front. The only thing that was missing was a box of tissues but that was minor. It also took a while for the hot water to reach the shower, also minor. We would definitely stay here again!

We always have a pleasant stay at starved rock. Rocky the manager is very nice and gave us a good price for the week that we stayed. I recommend staying here while in town.

The rooms are cleans and spacious. I love the retro look they did when they remodeled it. They lighting in the room was not very bright, but we loved our stay and would absolutely come back.

What ever you do don’t come to this location! Power kept going off while it was 20 below zero they wouldnt give me another room, kept telling me to give it time to warm up 2 hrs later and frozen toes from all 4 of my kids and asked for another room, was told they didn’t have anymore but the on line sight said they did ! then charged me double for the deposit for staying for 2 hrs that they took a while to return mind you! .(after telling me to give it time for the room to warm up ) Wouldn’t refund me my full stay because from what the ignorant lady claimed I it’s my problem for not saying something sooner and I did 2 xs the power went out and the heater kept blowing cold air said I could have gotten it if I had told them on the first hr that I didn’t want to stay !!
