Great spot to camp! Plenty of shade. Don't be a douche by leaving your toilet paper or wipes on the ground! This isn't for everyone. There's no electricity or running water. We got a day pass, we did not stay the night. We walked the trails and hung out for the day. Finally camped and it was great! Please don't leave your trash in the fire pits, not cool. All it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone. There's not a lot to do in our county, be respectful.

A great find. You have to contact the south Florida water management district for a pass. Which you can do online. It's free and easy. There were more people than I expected when I went but I managed to find a secluded place to camp. Everyone was a bit stand offish and some where really loud with a pack of dogs. It's not a campsite for everyone and not appropriate for rvs/trailers. But it's along the Florida Trail and beautiful.

Secluded, primitive campsite, but felt family friendly too. Our site had a covered picnic area, which we didn't need or used. But the extra tables near where we set up our tents came in handy at meal times. Fire rings available at the site too.

terrible place a coyote got my dog, wife got bit by a snake and about got flown away by mosquitos. do not recommend anyone to visit this place, worst day of my life.
