Starlight Inn South El Monte

I Haven't had the privilege of staying here, but when I went to drop off food to a friend, it was absolutely beautiful from the outside. It was clean, it smelled. Good everything looked like it was brand new like if they had just built this motel. The gentleman that helped me at the lobby was very nice. I had no complaints. I can't say anymore about this place because I've never stayed here but from what I saw from the outside was pleasant and inviting.

Positive: Ants in shower table feel over smelled like marijuana Negative: Locked out of room yucky

Cockroaches in the room! Lots of them everywhere!||Bed and towels are not simply dirty. They have black color because of mud.||Long black foreign hair on towels, in bathroom, in bed.||||Staff changed room after my request and we had 3-5 cockroaches in our bed per day instead of 10-20.

A budget-friendly motel near the freeway. Rooms are basic but clean. Parking is free and plentiful. The staff at the desk were polite and helpful. Good choice if you just need a place to sleep.

The prices were unbeatable, the location was super convenient, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Incredibly accommodating and friendly from check-in to check-out. I’ll definitely be booking again and recommending this place to all my family and friends. A hidden gem!
